Remix Lineage

A remix is only trustworthy if you can prove what it descends from. Enter a parent artifact's fingerprint and your transform, and this tool derives a deterministic child descriptor that stamps its parent. Re-running the same parent and transform reproduces the same child hash, so an ancestry claim is verifiable by anyone, not taken on trust.

Data: no external data

Inputs STEP 1
The parent's integer fingerprint or short hash. Leave blank for a root artifact.
The operation performed on the parent, in your own words
Integer, minimum 1
Lineage Status
--
Root artifact or derived remix
Child Key
--
Deterministic fingerprint of parent + transform + edition
Lineage Depth
--
0 for a root artifact, 1 for a derived remix

Author identity is self-asserted unless the artifact is separately signed. This is hash-verifiable only, not a zero-knowledge proof. Try changing the transform string above and re-running: the child key moves even though the parent fingerprint and edition stay the same.
